The Lodge is the gathering spot for our guests offering over 10,000 square feet of a rustic blend of natural wood, huge fire places, dining and entertainment areas, meeting room, pro shop, comfortable porches and an outdoor pavilion.

During our hunting season lunch is an event in itself. Guests enjoy traditional southern fare such as fried chicken, roast beef and meatloaf served with stir-fried cabbage and cauliflower; homemade biscuits and desserts are as sweet-southern as banana pudding, peach cobbler, and homemade pound cake served with ice cream.

Evening meals range from choice beef steaks charred on the grill and ribs or chicken barbeque, to traditional low country boil and oyster roasts. No matter the meal at Dorchester, you can be sure it is prepared here, homemade, fresh, and presented with much southern love and pride.

Dorchester accommodates business meetings and social events with our conference room, audio visual equipment and wireless internet completing the business meeting package.

For larger groups such as weddings, family reunions and corporate retreats, our dining and great room easily accommodates 40 to 100 guests depending upon your desired seating arrangements. After the meeting, there’s plenty of space to gather near the fireplace in the large, screened porch, or outside on benches and rocking chairs around our custom-built fire-pit for much reminiscing of the day’s events and tomorrows adventures to come.
